Jeremy J Rolph
President
Jeremy J Rolph is a career meteorologist who grew up in Southwest Florida, living in the state since the age of 9 mos.
His passion developed from penisular Florida's rapidly changing weather. Growing up in Florida also instilled his love of the beach, which graduated to his passion for surfing. This, combined with his affinity for math and science, left one option for his career, meteorology.
Mr. Rolph graduated from Florida State University in the spring of 2003 with his BS in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. The Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies at Florida State University hired Mr. Rolph right out of college and he has been employed there ever since.
Mr. Rolph began working as a contractor for Surfline.com in the spring of 2013, providing Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico basin forecasts and reports for marine weather and surfing.
In 2010, Mr. Rolph also started taking on side jobs for DART engineering regarding historical weather event analysis. In early 2014, this activity became Forensic Meteorology of Florida, LLC, although Mr. Rolph continues his employment at COAPS and Surfline.com.
